Julian Chen (they/them) is an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics/TESOL and Course Coordinator of Asian Languages at Curtin University. Their research synergises technology-enhanced language teaching, queering curriculum, and humanising pedagogy. Julian is the Editor of Emergency Remote Teaching and Beyond (2021), and author of Second Life as a Virtual Playground for Language Education (2022).
