I am interested in daily interactions where deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing students co-learn through sign and oral and written languages. Through my Ph.D. research, I hope to examine the possibility of a bimodal bilingual society where oral/written and sign languages can be used, while taking a critical approach to the language construct by adopting a metrolingual approach.
