I recently concluded my doctoral study in English Language and Linguistics at the National University of Singapore. My main area of interest lies in the field of variation phenomena in Mandarin and English. Over the past three years, I have conducted several quantitative research projects, including examining variation in language use on social media, investigating the sociophonetic aspects of linguistic style, and analyzing variations in the stylistic choices of English teachers.
