Oyeyemi Ifeoluwa Bamidele is a researcher studying language and society. She's from Nigeria and currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Amity University, Gurgaon, India. Her focus is on how people use language and how it's connected to society. She earned her bachelor's degree in Linguistics and her master's in Applied Linguistics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She's also certified in teaching English to speakers of other languages. For Oyeyemi, language is more than just words. It's about how people communicate and connect with each other. Her research specializes in sociolinguistics, which examines the connection between society and language. She also studies second language acquisition, focusing on how people learn new languages. Her research interests extend to bi/multilingualism as well as teaching English to speakers of other languages. Outside of her research, Oyeyemi loves teaching English to people who are learning it as a second language. She has eight years of experience in teaching, both in Nigeria and in India. Her other interests include professional development, discourse analysis, second language learning strategies, and teaching pronunciation. She's excited to share her discoveries with others and hopes to make a difference in the field of language studies.
