Eduardo Alves Vieira is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics and Portuguese Language at the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics (Netherlands). His first main research project studies how Pajubá, the Brazilian LGBTQIA+ dialect, fosters language variation in Brazil. The second, financed by the Dutch Research Council (NWO), deals with how inclusive religious discourses help construct a Brazilian LGBTQIA+ religious identity.
