Samantha is a current PhD student in the East Asian Languages and Literatures department at University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her research interests lie in Sociolinguistics (gender, identity, performativity, class, race to name a few) as well as Conversation Analysis (in particular, classroom discourse and interaction).
