Søren Vigild Poulsen (PhD) is Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark, Department of Culture and Language, and member of Centre for Multimodal Communication (CMC). He has published journal articles and book chapters on semiotic technology and practices, history of social media, website site design, Generative AI, deepfakes, social semiotic and cognitive approaches to multimodal analysis, multimodal semiosis as well as transduction or translation across modes of communication. His teaching includes digital communication, marketing, web and design. He also serves as co-editor of Visual Communication.
