I am currently a PhD candidate at Leiden University where I specialize in sociolinguistics with a focus on language use in social media. I investigate script-related practices, in particular script choices and script-switching, that take place online and on social media platforms. I am especially interested in the attitudes held towards, and ideologies around, non-canonical scripts used by individuals of varying demographics. I completed my undergraduate degree in Greek language and literature in 2019 at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and subsequently completed a master's degree in Linguistics at Leiden University.
