Dr. Corinne Seals is a Ukrainian-American applied sociolinguist at Victoria University of Wellington. She is also the Director of the Wellington Translanguaging Project and Translanguaging Aotearoa. Corinne's research focuses on language and identity and translanguaging, especially for heritage language speakers and to support Indigenous language reclamation efforts. She also researches language policy and planning, linguistic landscapes, and forensic linguistics.
