Sara Hillman is an Associate Professor of English in the Division of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University at Qatar. Her current areas of research focus on the sociolinguistics of emotions and identity in English-medium transnational higher education; linguistically and culturally responsive pedagogies; language policy and planning; and the linguistic landscape of the Arab Gulf.
