I'm Yanyu YANG, a first-year PhD student in Linguistics at the National University of Singapore. Before this, I got my M.A. with distinction from Lancaster University, UK. I’m interested in sociophonetics, especially in style-shifting and identity construction. Currently, I’m preparing for my project which focuses on acoustic features of gay-sounding speech in China.
