I am Professor of English linguistics in the Department of English, Stockholm University. My research interests lie at the intersection of discourse analysis and sociolinguistics with a focus on the use of English in multilingual settings. I've published widely in this area. My latest book is Tension-filled English at the multilingual university: A Bakhtinian perspective (Multilingual Matters, 2023).
