My name is Nandin-Erdene Bayart from Mongolia, and I am currently studying in a PhD program at the School of Population Health, Curtin University in Western Australia. I obtained my Master of Science in Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins University on a US Government Scholarship. I have worked as a full-time lecturer and researcher at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences for over five years. Therefore, I have worked in several public and private organizations, including the General Agency for Specialized Inspection and the ‘Tavan Tolgoi’ Coal Mine in Mongolia. My PhD research is focused on ‘Health Effects of Ambient Air Pollution in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’, and my main research areas include public health, environmental epidemiology, exposure, and health impact assessment.
