Paul Mercieca is a senior adjunct research fellow in the School of Education, where he has taught and researched in the areas of Applied Linguistics and TESOL. He has worked in the United Kingdom, Egypt, Oman and Vietnam. He was the Executive Editor of the English Australia (EA) Journal from 2010 to 2013. Paul has had many articles and conference papers published and his research interests lie in the areas of critical transcultural literacy and translanguaging.
