Rickey Larkin is currently a PhD student in the Department of Second Language Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. He credits his undergraduate experience with the Myaamia Center for inspiring his professional path in language education and his academic interests in the social influences on language. His research interests include sociolinguistics, linguistic landscapes, and second language writing.
