Gabriel D Djomeni is a Ph.D. holder and Senior lecturer in linguistics in the Department of African Studies and Globalisation at the University of Dchang, Cameroon. In 2014, he was a postdoctoral research fellow in linguistics at the University of Cape Town. He has authored books, booklets and scientific papers in national and international peer review Journals and well-known outlets. His current fields of interest include descriptive grammar of undescribed or lesser described languages, language documentation, revitalization and standardisation, didactics, technodidactics and pedagogy, digital humanities and pedagogic materials design for African languages, language in education policy, pragmatics and sociolinguistics. He is also a member of scholarly societies.
