Alexander F. Tang (he/him) is a PhD Student in East Asian Languages and Literatures, specializing in Chinese Linguistics at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, Honolulu, Hawai’i, USA. He recently published an article in the WAESOL Educator titled “Implementing project-based language learning with adult multilingual learners of English” and another article on “Reflections from a Pedagogy of the Oppressed book reading inquiry circle” in the COABE Journal Alex has presented at numerous conferences on multilingual identity development, second language acquisition, and translanguaging. During his free time, Alex likes to go surfing and swimming in the Pacific Ocean.
